“What would you do with this life?” This question changed everything. It was a beautiful day. The sun was shining bright, birds were singing sweet, and rabbits were playing happily in my backyard. Everything looked good around me. I was sitting on my bed and heard a bell ring from my mobile. I got a message from Delphin’s friend. Delphin is my best friend. He is compassionate, funny, kind and a great human being. He is one of the most talented and hardworking person I have ever seen. You should see him play. Then, I read with a choking feeling and a tight chest “Delphin left us from this life. He is not with us anymore.”

Everything stopped. The sun stopped shining, the birds stopped singing and rabbits stopped playing. I could not believe it. So, I called everyone on our football team just to hear them say he is still with us. The more they said Delphin gave up on his life, the more I believed it to be true. Finally, my heart stopped. The world stood still and all I could hear is me crying hard to my family on the phone standing in my backyard. They were not able to console me. I curled in my bed, shivering and crying all day and night. The next question I asked changed my life.

I asked myself “What would you do with this life?” I was overwhelmed with love, happiness, kindness, gratitude, humility and all the goodness of Life. I learned that people give up on life because they stop becoming who they are. This experience showed me the worthiness of life. I knew what I wanted to do with my life. I wanted to create and share this experience.

The next day, I rose to my new life. I started reaching out to my family, friends and people who encourage us to follow our dreams and purpose in life. The love and support that I received after a lot of interactions showed me that I enjoy the leisure of life. During the next few years, I strengthened my knowledge by learning as much as possible from anything and everything available to create and share opportunities and experiences to inspire and empower good life through excellence, goodness and fulfillment. After a lot of struggles and learning, using my knowledge, creativity and inspiration, I created ROKI. ROKI stands for R. Oscar Kingsley’s Inspiration. ROKI encourages you to experience good life.
